Certification Class Info
Getting started on your SCUBA certification couldn’t be easier! You pick a class that you want to take, choose whether you’d like a NAUI Certification (non-diving class work can either be done on-line or in a classroom) or an SDI Certification (all non-diving class work is done on-line) and start your adventure!
Classes are broken up into 4 levels: Beginner, Advanced, Specialty and Master. Using the “Classes” menu above, select the level and course you are interested in and find the information you need to get started.
Classes have 3 segments: On-line/Textbook/Lecture, Pool Session(s) and Open Water Session(s). (Not all classes require all 3 segments).
A word about certification agencies:
All certification agencies are recognized around the world. All SCUBA certification agencies have the same set of basic training standards. It’s up to the individual agency whether or not to include training over and above these minimums. IT IS OK for you to have multiple-agency certifications, and in some cases, such as specialty classes, this may be unavoidable.
