7.25.10 – Open Water Class Comes to an End

open water classHello everyone.

Sunday, July 25th marked the end of another great Open Water class. After Tropical Storm Bonnie moved away the day before, the ocean had calmed down enough to get out aboard Scubatyme ChartersScubatyme III for a couple of great dives on the “Peter McAllister” tugboat and Shark Ledge Reef. Seas were 2-4ft, skies were sunny and viz was about 30ft – still churned up by TS Bonnie. I had never been to the “Peter McAllister” before and, while it is a small wreck (only 80ft long), it had an enormous amount of fish life on it. A beautiful day of diving for everyone! Congratz to my (now certified) students on a job well done!
